My adventure through EDLD 5352. I am hoping that by the end of this adventure I will be a little less of a technology idiot. I hope to be comfortable using more technology in my classroom.
You can certainly tell that you've put a lot time and effort into your plan! I read in your week 4 post that you've narrowed the scope of your research to target freshman math students in RTI...I agree, that is much more manageable, and once you've researched that, you can continue to analyze other grade levels and subjects. When you analyze your current RTI strategies, will you then compare them to the best practices you were just trained on at the professional development? I would think you would want to make sure everyone is using the rightmethods, during your evaluation. Someone else also included a student survey regarding their perceived effectiveness of the program...that might help identify weaknesses too...I think the on-going evaluation every six weeks is very beneficial too...you have the opportunity to initiate changes as you progress AND your not stuck evaluating it all at the end of the year. Your plan looks very thorough! Best of luck!
